Guesthouses are ALL the rage!

Especially since Gov. Doug Ducey signed legislation that requires cities to allow short-term rentals, opening the door to online home rental companies such as Airbnb, Homeaway and VBRO. (you can read more about that here)

I had the chance to catch up with Ron & Nicole, two clients of mine from a few years ago who bought a beautiful home with a guesthouse on Portland. I was BLOWN AWAY by how they've chosen to utilize their cottage out back to actually make double payments on their home every month!

"We average around $2,000/month renting our little guesthouse on airbnb. It takes work scheduling and cleaning after our guests leave, but it's been a wonderful experience for us. Who would have thought that $80/a night could let us pay off the house SO much faster!"
